Lincoln, NE 3/22/18

What a long but, enjoyable weekend at the “Corn Husker Classic” held at the beautiful Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Where do I start? Great weather. Great people. Just a really all and all good time! Thank you Dale Nelson, Mark Nelson and the whole Nelson family for putting this on every year. Ted Warm and Jeff Brabec. Jeff and Amber Gravert of Gravert Restoration. The St.Judes Tractor and the people all involved with this wonderful cause. The two sleds Hoot Foot I Mark Shellum and Hoot Foot II Clay Drenth who did a fantastic job (as always). To all the track people, announcers and record keeping staff. We thank you so very much for all you did this past weekend. Thank you NATPA members and the pullers how took the time and pulled on a Thursday and gave us way over 400 hooks for the day. That’s not even counting the “Jack Pot Classes” hooks. The winner of the 4750 lbs. 5 mph Class went to Paul Queck on a John Deere “70”. The winner of the 5250 lbs. 8 mph was Mel Rami on a John Deere “G”. Next stop will be our last NATPA stop for the 2017-2018 season in Princeton, Indiana April 6th and 7th. Today is your last day to contact Alison Baber about claiming your class points for the season. Getter done! Remember – Divisions 3 and 4 are up for review and discussion this year. (This will also effect motor rules in DIV 2-TC). Again – Great pull Lincoln, Nebraska. Hope to see everyone at Princeton. Drive Safe and Take Care. God Bless!
