Sigourney, IA & Annual Meeting

The NATPA kicked off our 25th season this weekend in Sigourney, Iowa. We had 360 hooks Friday in the Expo classes & 522 hooks Saturday in the NATPA sanctioned event. I’m pretty confident this was the largest NATPA summer pull we have ever had. Thanks to Scott Alderson & the Keokuk County Expo for hosting a great event. We held our Annual Meeting on Friday night & no changes were made to Division II rules & Brian Raml was elected as a new Board Member in the West. It was announced that the Mason, MI event scheduled for October 30 & 31 has been cancelled. We are looking into a couple alternate locations & will keep everyone informed. An excellent dinner was furnished by the NATPA & cooked by the Expo. I would like to thank everyone that stepped up & helped us put on a great show this weekend. Thanks Eric Olin, Houston Jackson, & Jeff A. Gravert for taking over announcing duties. Thanks Josh Wilhelm & Jeff White for providing the sleds this weekend. Thanks Justin-Tara Dodge & Elizabeth Welch for helping me with registration. Thank you to everyone that helped all weekend. I know I will miss someone but it was very appreciated. I would like anyone who helped to comment below with what they helped with & be recognized for their efforts. Antique pulling is alive & well as we proved again this weekend. It was great to see everyone this weekend. Good times were had by all & look forward to the next one where we can all be together again. We welcomed many new faces to the NATPA this weekend & hope you enjoyed the experience. The organization continues to grow & keeps getting better & better! Thanks Maurice Henry Robert Prose Pete Petznick Landon Greenfield Wes Greenfield Eric Edge Jonathan Edge Ray Tellin Jeanine Tellin (Denny) Joe Samuelson Tim Raml Tim Harlin for all your help!
